Benefits of Membership

NARHI is recognised as an organisation specifically concerned with the requirements of the Registered Home Inspector and Accredited Energy Assessor.

NARHI and its members are committed to establishing these new professions, raising the standards of knowledge, quality and safety by working closely with other professional bodies and regulators.

It is intended that Membership of NARHI will add to the Registered Home Inspectors and Accredited Energy Assessors credibility in a supporting role and the development of membership benefits the association grows. Services will be developed in line with member’s priorities and the Board will listen to the views of members as to which additional services are most important.

New services will be researched and added again subject to the majority views of members. This will especially be the case where the addition of a new service may have to be reflected in an increase to the following years subscriptions. The Board is committed to the Association being a listening organisation and who will be guided by the soundings from members.

Register and Directory

Inclusion within the NARHI on line public directory of Registered Home Inspectors and Accredited Energy Assessors with the intention in due course of specialist sections to identify those members with specialist knowledge of particular property types and forms of construction.

Promote the interests of Members

As new markets evolve to seek and identify other work streams for the Home Inspector and Energy Assessor and to provide direction to approved training providers able to offer courses to develop the skills and knowledge of members.

Web based Information and News

Provide a source for news, views, technical information and regional activities through Newsletters and direct communication to members.

Regional Meetings

As membership develops create through regional structures the means of providing
events and local networking.

Organisations and individuals who support the aims and objectives of NARHI may become affiliated with the trade body within a separate section on the web-site. Patrons may display their logo to provide a link through to their own web-site for the purposes of promoting their services to members and visitors to the NARHI web-site.
This opportunity is aimed at businesses involved in the provision of training, assessment, production of Home Information Packs, Home Condition Reports, Energy Certificates, and other services likely to be of interest to members. Further information from our Derby Office.

Use of Association Logo

Full members may use the NARHI logo on personal stationery and to signify their individual membership on promotional material coupled with the words ‘Full Member’ beneath. Corporate organisations, partnerships, and firms may only use the logo with the title of ‘Patron’ beneath where they are currently covered by an annual donation to NARHI.
